About 10 years ago, I was homeless and had no family. The Lighthouse literally saved my life, providing clothes and meals. I will be forever grateful!

The wait outside was a little bad because it was extremely hot but I got a nice tan 🤣 the lady and guy that worked here the day I came in was super polite. I was able to make spaghetti for my family until my snap hits so thankfully we won't be hungry. Very nice people. I love the hibachi trays too.

Truly an amazing where people get together so they can do everything they can to help out veterans in need and not just veterans but also people that are less fortunate the rest of us at one point in time I was one of those very I was a homeless veteran and now I live in one of the best homes I've ever lived in I wouldn't be back to the condition I'm in without them and one other organization most of all the Lynchburg area veterans council they've done more for me than I could have ever asked for

Amazing place doing amazing things! They provide a food bank, clothing vouchers, bike vouchers, mental health services, womens health screenings and so much more! A beacon of Jesus' light in our community ❤

The Lighthouse Community Center is a nonprofit ministry staffed entirely by volunteers who are passionate about serving those Jesus referred to as “the least of these my brethren.” If you or someone you know is in need of a helping hand, the selfless folks at the Lighthouse want to help. Give them a call. They have a hotline available 24/7. And even during the COVID-19 crisis they still fed nearly a hundred hungry homeless every day.
